Don't Skip The Sparkle

We are excited to announce that joining us for the 2007 breeding season is TE FOR DADDY, a 1992 chestnut AQHA stallion. “Daddy” has a pedigree that we all want. His sire is ’84 World Champion Aged AQHA Stallion, Sierra Te by Te N Te. His dam is ’84 Reserve World Champion Youth Yearling Mare, My Daddys Sox by Beaus My Daddy. Look at the printed pedigree. Out of 30 total horses in Daddy’s pedigree only 10 horses do not have a show or race record. Four of these are Thoroughbred horses whose accomplishments don’t show up on the AQHA records!

Daddy has been in South Dakota his entire breeding age until he came to Iowa last spring. His first Iowa baby arrived here Monday, 2/5/2007! From the APHA overo mare Docs Dandy Flash, little “Pop’s Sicle” decided to show up on a super cold morning! She has APHA qualifying white on her face, a couple white “slash marks” on one side, a large white spot on one knee and probably some white on her tummy. Once she quits jumping around (!) we’ll check that out closer!! We have two more APHA mares still carrying Daddy “kids” so we will soon have some photos to show off.

Daddy stands 15.1 hands, 1100 lbs in pasture condition. He looks and acts half his age. We are looking for good things from his babies and expect to show them. Daddy was offered in both Iowa Paint Horse and Midwest Horseman’s stallion auctions. Watch for his ’07 babies in the Open Division of the Midwest this fall.

We will be taking professional photos of Dad later this year – IF it ever warms up here in Iowa!! He should be a great cross on Impressive mares and should produce nice minded, athletic and pretty colts. If you want a lot of renowned Quarter Horse bloodlines, great disposition, ability and pretty, pretty, pretty.

Daddy's 2007 foals

SnoDaPop, sorrel overo filly, was born 4/4/2007. Dam is Hey Girl, producer of a reining futurity champion and a halter futurity champion. She was born the day we had several inches of snow, so that helped with her name!!

PopsCicle, sorrel overo filly, was born 2/5/2007. Her dam is Doc's Dandy Flash, by Dandy Class (Sky Bug Bingo breeding). She was born in the barn while the weather outside was below zero! Another "Cool Cutie" from Daddy!
